By submitting an inquiry or placing an order with Russian HoneyCake, you agree to these Terms of Service regarding our products, allergen notice, order process, and related legal terms.

Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern inquiries, orders, and purchases of handmade Russian honey cake (Medovik) offered by Russian HoneyCake, serving the Houston, Texas metro area from Sugar Land, Texas.
By checking the consent box on our order inquiry form, or by otherwise requesting or accepting a cake, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not submit an inquiry or order.
This page is provided for informational and contractual acknowledgment purposes. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified Texas attorney. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Products, Ingredients & Allergen Notice
IMPORTANT ALLERGEN NOTICE
Our traditional Medovik is made with authentic recipes and natural ingredients. All of our honey cakes contain the following allergens and ingredients:
- Natural honey
- Eggs
- Wheat (gluten)
- Dairy (cream / butter)
- May contain nuts
Do not order or consume our cake if you or any intended recipient has an allergy or sensitivity to honey, eggs, wheat, gluten, dairy, nuts, or any other ingredient you cannot verify as safe. For medical questions about allergies or diet, consult a licensed healthcare professional.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Russian HoneyCake is not responsible for allergic reactions, adverse health effects, or other injuries arising from consumption of our products when the customer or recipient has failed to review this allergen notice or has ordered or consumed the product despite known or reasonably knowable allergies or dietary restrictions. Customers remain responsible for reviewing ingredients before purchase and for informing us of any dietary concerns before an order is confirmed. Disclosure of a concern does not guarantee that we can accommodate it.
Storage, Handling & Freshness
Freshness Promise
Medovik is a delicate, perishable product made without artificial preservatives. Proper refrigeration and timely consumption are essential to quality and food safety. After pickup or delivery, safe storage and handling are the customer’s responsibility.
Customer Care Guidelines
- Keep the cake refrigerated promptly and continuously until serving, except for a brief period at room temperature immediately before serving.
- Consume within a reasonable time consistent with perishable bakery goods. Do not eat cake that appears spoiled, damaged, or improperly stored.
- Allow a short time at room temperature before serving for best texture, then return leftovers to refrigeration promptly.
Inquiries, Orders & Fulfillment
Please inquire at least 48 hours ahead when possible.
Each cake is baked to order. Lead times may vary based on demand and availability.

Pickup and delivery options, if any, are confirmed when your order is accepted. Availability is not guaranteed until we confirm in writing (including email or message).
Submitting the inquiry form is a request only. It does not create a binding order until Russian HoneyCake confirms availability, specifications, price, payment terms, and fulfillment details. Payment, changes, cancellations, refunds, pickup, and delivery terms are those we communicate and you accept at confirmation. We do not publish fixed cancellation fees or delivery radii on this page because those terms depend on the specific order.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our cakes are provided “as is,” and Russian HoneyCake disclaims all warranties not expressly stated in a confirmed order, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, except where such disclaimers are prohibited.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Russian HoneyCake’s total liability arising out of or related to any inquiry, order, or product shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the specific cake giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or event-related losses, to the extent such limitation is allowed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under Texas or federal law, including applicable food-safety and consumer-protection requirements.
Governing Law, Updates & Contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable law, exclusive venue for disputes relating to these Terms or our products shall be in the state or federal courts located in Fort Bend County, Texas, where Russian HoneyCake operates from Sugar Land, Texas.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date and version. Continued use of the inquiry form or placement of orders after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
